Topikal Retinoidler: Trifarotene
Özet
Trifaroten 50 µg/g retinoik asit reseptörünü (RAR)-ƴ hedefleyen, FDA tarafından 2019 yılında 9 yaş ve üzerindeki akne hastalarında kullanımı onaylanan yeni selektif topikal retinoiddir. RAR -ƴ üzerinden etki gösterdiği için 1. ve 3. kuşak retinoidlerden ayrılmaktadır. Komedolitik, anti-inflamatuvar ve pigment açıcı özellikleri vardır. Lokal yan etkileri diğer topikal retinoidlerden daha azdır. Etkinliği faz 3 çalışmaları ile desteklenmiş olup yüz ve gövde yerleşimli inflamatuvar ve noninflamatuvar akne lezyonlarında umut verici sonuçları bulunmaktadır.
