Özet

Sütçü sığır işletmelerinde sürü yönetimi veteriner fakültelerindeki büyükbaş çiftlik hayvanlarını ilgilendiren tüm anabilim dallarının tek çatı altında uygulanmasını gerektirir. Sürü yönetimi sürdürülebilirlik için dikkatle uygulanması gereken bir sistemdir. Biyogüvenlik ve koruyucu hekimlik uygulamaları ile başlayan sürü yönetimi verimi arttırmak ve kayıpları azaltmak için gerekenleri içerir. Koruyucu hekimlik sadece aşılamadan ibaret değildir. Örneğin; doğru yapılmış, konforlu bir barınak koruyucu hekimliktir. Uygun besleme yapmak da bir koruyucu hekimliktir. Sürü yönetimi bu ve buna benzer konuları ayrıntılarıyla ele alan kapsamlı bir çalışmadır. Sürü yönetiminin dört temel kuralını akılda tutarak işlere başlanmalı ve devam edilmelidir. Kuru-temiz.
