This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of telehealth and telemedicine applications in pediatric care based on current scientific evidence. It introduces the fundamental concepts of telehealth and discusses their role in pediatric healthcare delivery, emphasizing remote care models for children. Key application areas—including chronic disease management, home healthcare, remote patient monitoring, neonatal care, and school-based health services—are presented in detail. The chapter also examines digital communication among nurses, children, and families, highlighting the contribution of digital health technologies to care coordination, family engagement, and continuity of care. Ethical considerations, data privacy, information security, and quality standards for telehealth practice are addressed alongside the technological and organizational challenges associated with implementation. By demonstrating how telehealth can improve healthcare accessibility, support family-centered care, enhance care continuity, and increase cost-effectiveness, this chapter offers an evidence-based perspective on the future of pediatric healthcare in the era of digital transformation. It serves as a valuable resource for healthcare professionals, researchers, and students interested in digital pediatric health services.
