Özet

Bu çalışma; modern hayvancılık sistemlerinde hayvan refahı, biyogüvenlik ve hayvan sağlığı kavramlarının birbirleriyle olan ilişkisini bilimsel literatür çerçevesinde incelemektedir. Günümüzde hayvansal üretim sistemlerinin yoğunlaşmasıyla birlikte enfeksiyöz hastalıklar, antibiyotik kullanımı, çevresel etkiler ve hayvan refahı problemleri daha belirgin hale gelmiştir. Bu nedenle sürdürülebilir hayvansal üretim açısından refah ve biyogüvenlik uygulamalarının bütüncül bir yaklaşımla ele alınması zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Çalışmada öncelikle One Health yaklaşımı kapsamında insan, hayvan ve çevre sağlığı arasındaki ilişki değerlendirilmiş; hayvan refahının yalnızca fiziksel sağlık değil, aynı zamanda davranışsal ve psikolojik boyutları da içeren çok yönlü bir kavram olduğu vurgulanmıştır. Beş Özgürlük ilkesi, refah değerlendirme kriterleri ve kronik stresin fizyolojik etkileri ayrıntılı olarak ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada ayrıca hayvan refahının değerlendirilmesinde kullanılan davranışsal, fizyolojik ve sağlık göstergeleri incelenmiş; hassas hayvancılık teknolojileri, sensör sistemleri, termal görüntüleme ve yapay zekâ destekli erken uyarı mekanizmalarının modern refah yönetimindeki rolü açıklanmıştır. Biyobelirteçler aracılığıyla stres ve hastalık süreçlerinin objektif biçimde izlenebildiği belirtilmiştir. Çalışmanın biyogüvenlik bölümünde ise dış ve iç biyogüvenlik uygulamaları, sürü sağlığı yönetimi, karantina, hijyen, aşılama ve dezenfeksiyon protokolleri değerlendirilmiştir. Sığır, küçükbaş ve kanatlı yetiştiriciliğinde biyogüvenlik uygulamalarının türlere göre farklılık gösterdiği, özellikle yoğun üretim sistemlerinde biyogüvenlik önlemlerinin kritik öneme sahip olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Sonuç olarak çalışma, hayvan refahı ve biyogüvenlik uygulamalarının yalnızca hayvan sağlığını değil, aynı zamanda halk sağlığını, gıda güvenliğini ve çevresel sürdürülebilirliği doğrudan etkilediğini göstermektedir. Hassas hayvancılık teknolojileri ve veri temelli yönetim sistemlerinin gelişmesiyle birlikte gelecekte daha proaktif, sürdürülebilir ve etik hayvansal üretim modellerinin yaygınlaşacağı değerlendirilmektedir.
