Çiftlik Hayvanları Islahında Güncel Genetik Yaklaşımlar ve Uygulamalar ile Genetik Çeşitlilik (Varyasyon)
Özet
Bu bölümde, genetik alanda sürekli geliştirilen teknik ve yöntemlerin uygulamalarıyla günümüz hayvansal üretiminde verim artışı, hastalık direnci ve sürü yönetimi gibi konularda hayvan ıslahında uygulanan moleküler genetik çalışmalara ve gelişmelere yer verilmiş; geleneksel ve günümüz moleküler ıslah yöntemleri karşılaştırılarak olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca hayvansal üretimde genetik çeşitlilik kavramı tanımlanmış; önemi, korunması ve sürdürülebilirliği için gerekli bileşenler ele alınmıştır.
