Normal Basınçlı Hidrosefali
Özet
Normal basınçlı hidrosefali, idiyopatik veya sekonder nedenlerle olabilen genişlemiş serebral ventriküller (ventrikülomegali), bilişsel bozulma, yürüme bozukluğu ve idrar inkontinansı ile karakterize potansiyel olarak tedavi edilebilir bir durumdur. Tanısında beyin tomografisi ve manyetik rezonans grüntüleme gibi teknolojilerin yanında, yürüme testleri, nöropsikolojik testler, lomber musluk testi gibi uygulanabilecek diğer testler kullanılabilir elde edilen sonuçlarla cerrahi uygulanacak hastada tedaviye yanıt açısından ön bilgi elde edilebilir. Ayırıcı tanıda, santral sinir sisteminin dejeneratif hastalıkları akılda tutulmalıdır. Erken tanı ve uygulanacak etkin tedavi yöntemi ile klinikteki iyileşmenin yüz güldürücü olacağı unutulmamalıdır.
