Lawton ve Brody Enstrümental Günlük Yaşam Aktiviteleri Ölçeği
Özet
Yaşlı yetişkinlerde, kapsamlı geriatrik değerlendirmenin parçası olarak günlük yaşam aktiviteleri (GYA) ve enstrümental günlük yaşam aktivitelerinin (EGYA) sorgulanması, bağımlılık derecesinin ortaya konulması açısından oldukça önemlidir. GYA kişinin temel fiziksel ihtiyaçlarını yerine getirip getiremediğini, EGYA ise daha karmaşık ve bağımsız yaşam için gerekli olan becerileri içerir. EGYA sorgulanmasında Lawton ve Brody Enstrümental Günlük Yaşam Aktiviteler ölçeği yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır.
