Renal Apse
Özet
Çocuklarda renal apse nadir görülmektedir. Spesifik olmayan karın ağrısı ve uzamış ateşi olan hastalarda akılda bulundurulmalıdır. Tedavisinde erken ve doğru tanı çok önemlidir. Laboratuvar testleri kesin tanıyı koymak için tek başına yeterli değildir. Ultrasonografi ve kontrastlı BT ile yapılan görüntüleme kesin tanı koymak ve uygun tedavi için çok önemlidir. Apsenin boyutu küçükse, spesifik geniş spektrumlu antibiyotiklerle zamanında tedavi sonuçları iyileştirebilir. Antibiyotik tedavisine yeterli yanıt yoksa veya apse boyutu büyükse perkütan/açık apse drenajı ve nefrektomi gibi cerrahi tedaviler uygulanabilir. Altta yatan nedenlerin tanı ve tedavisi esas olduğundan multidisipliner yaklaşım çok önemlidir.
