Postoperatif Ateş
Özet
Postoperatif ateş, sıklıkla cerrahiye bağlı normal bir inflamatuvar yanıt olarak görülür, ancak ciddi enfeksiyöz veya enfeksiyöz olmayan nedenlerden de kaynaklanabilir. Postoperatif ateş, çocuklarda gereksiz tetkikin çok fazla yapıldığı bir durumdur. İyi bir öykü, fizik muayene yapılmalıdır ancak gereksiz tetkikten kaçınılmalıdır. Antibiyotik başlamadan önce olası non-enfeksiyoz nedenler düşünülmelidir. Ameliyatın tipi, özelliği ve yerine göre ateşin görülme sıklığı değişmektedir. Ateşin ameliyattan ne kadar süre sonra çıktığı etiyolojik açıdan önemlidir. Çocuklarda postoperatif ateşin çok fazla nedeni vardır. İyi bir ayırıcı tanı tedavi öncesi gereklidir. Her postoperatif ateş vakasına sistematik ve düzenli bir şekilde yaklaşılması önemlidir.
