Sistemik Juvenil İdiyopatik Artrit
Özet
Sistemik juvenil idiyopatik artrit, birçok sistemi aynı anda etkileyebilen, kalıcı destrüktif artrite ve ölümcül seyredebilen MAS’a neden olabilen bir hastalıktır. Şiddetli ve uzun süreli hastalık seyri olanlarda, hastalığın gidişatı ve glukokortikoidlerle uzun süreli tedaviye bağlı olarak ciddi morbidite görülebilir. Ancak son zamanlarda yaygın kullanılan biyolojik ajanlar ile erken tedavinin potansiyel olarak hastalığın seyrini iyi yönde değiştirebileceği ve uzun süreli glukokortikoid ihtiyacını ortadan kaldırabileceği düşünülmektedir. Tedaviden en etkin sonucu alabilmek için hasta/hasta yakınları ve komplikasyonların görülebileceği diğer branşlarla koordinasyon halinde çalışmak önemlidir.
