Özet

Kedi tırmığı hastalığı etkeni Bartonella henselea olup, ana rezervuarı kedidir ve çoğunlukla yavru kediden insana bulaş olmaktadır. Sıklıkla kendini sınırlayan, temasın olduğu alana yakın lenf nodlarında büyüme ile bulgu vermektedir. Daha az sıklıkta sistemik tutulum, hepatosplenik, nörolojik, oküler tutulum da bildirilmiştir. Uzamış ateş ve nedeni bilinmeyen ateş olgularında da etiyolojide akılda tutulmalıdır. Tanı, yönlendirecek öykü olması ve yapılan görüntüleme, doku örneklemesi, serolojik yöntemler ile konulmaktadır. Çoğunlukla kendini sınırlayıcı bir hastalık olsa da klinik etkilenme ve konak immunite durumuna göre farklı tedavi protokolleri mevcuttur.
