Ateşin Patofizyolojisi

Özet

Ateşin varlığı aileler için önemli bir kaygı nedenidir. Çocuk sağlığı ve hastalıkları uzmanlarının ateşi tanıması, ayırıcı tanısını yapabilmesi ve yönetebilmesi büyük öneme sahiptir. Çünkü ateş, basit bir üst solunum yolu enfeksiyonuna bağlı ortaya çıkabileceği gibi hayatı tehdit eden komplike hastalıkların bulgusu olarak da saptanabilmektedir. Birçok mekanizma ateşin oluşumunda rol oynamaktadır. Bu mekanizmalar hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak başarılı bir tedavi süreci için elzemdir.
