Ateşin Tanımı ve Tipleri
Özet
Ateş çocukluk çağı hastalıklarının çok sık rastlanan belirtilerinden biridir. Yüksek ateş çoğu zaman vücudun hastalığa verdiği savunma yanıtını gösterir. Ateş, patolojik uyaranlara yanıt olarak vücut sıcaklığının normal günlük periyodik değişimin üzerine çıkması olarak tanımlanır. Ateş tiplerinin sınıflandırılmasında derecenin yüksekliği, ateşin başlama ve devam etme süreleri ve gün içi ölçümlerde ateş trasesine göre alt tiplere ayrılabilir. Ateş tipinin belirlenmesinde detaylı öykü alınması detaylı tekrarlayan fizik inceleme önemlidir. Ateş tiplerinin sınıflandırılması ateşin nedenine yönelik tetkiklerin istenmesi ve tanıya ulaşmak için yol göstericidir.
