Artificial Intelligence Integration Into Education: Transformation of Teaching Processes and Changes in Teachers’ Role

Özet

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into education has brought both opportunities and challenges by transforming teaching methods. AI technologies such as personalized learning systems, automated assessment tools, and intelligent teacher support platforms show potential in optimizing teaching processes, providing adaptive learning, and delivering real-time feedback to students. These advancements allow educators to focus more on creative and strategic tasks, while reducing administrative burdens. However, the integration of AI also raises concerns related to job security, the digital divide, data privacy, and algorithmic biases, which could hinder equitable access to technology and undermine the fairness of educational systems. This study comprehensively examines the integration of AI into education and its impact on teaching processes and teachers' roles. The research emphasizes the importance of a balanced approach, where AI serves as a supportive tool rather than a replacement for human teachers. Additionally, the study proposes key strategies to mitigate AI-related risks, including strengthening teacher professional development, ensuring equitable access to technology, and developing ethical frameworks for the use of AI in education. The study concludes that while AI has the potential to improve educational outcomes, its adoption must be carefully evaluated in terms of its ethical, social, and professional implications, ensuring that the human touch remains at the center of the teaching and learning process.
