Süt Dişlerinin Travmatik Yaralanmasından Sonra Oluşan Komplikasyonlar

Özet

Diş hekimliğinde karşılaşılan süt dişlerinin travmatik dental yaralanması sonrasında daimi dişlerde oluşan komplikasyonlar, çocuk ve ebeveynleri ilgilendiren önemli sağlık problemlerinden biridir. Dento-alveoler travmalar; kazalar, spor yaralanmaları, düşmeler ve şiddet gibi faktörlerden kaynaklanan dişlerin, diş etinin, çene kemiğinin, dudak ve yanak gibi dokuların ani ve beklenmedik bir şekilde hasar olarak sıklıkla karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Literatürde, travmatik dental yaralanmaların prevelansları, etiyolojisi, ebeveyn ve bakıcıların bilgi düzeyleri, travma sonrası bilgilendirme ve tedavi seçenekleri ile ilgili bir çok çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmalar hekimlerin bilgi düzeylerini artırarak dental travma meydana gelen hastalarda tedavi ve takip sürecini yönetmelerine yön verir. Süt dişleri daimi dişlerle olan ilişkisi açısından oldukça önemlidir. Süt dişlerinde meydana gelen travmalar, sadece o anda oluşan hasara yol açmakla kalmaz, aynı zamanda daimi dişlerin gelişimini de olumsuz etkileyebilmektedir. Erken teşhis ve tedavi ile komplikasyonlar önlenebilir ve daimi dişlerin sağlıklı bir şekilde gelişmesi sağlanabilir. Bu derlemede süt dişleri travmalarının hikayeleri, sınıflandırmaları, tanıları ve tedavileri, travma sonrası bakım ve daimi dişlere etkileri hakkında bilgi vermek amaçlanmaktadır.

Complications of permanent teeth resulting from injuries to primary teeth are a significant concern for children and parents in dentistry. Dento-alveolar traumas often result from sudden damage to tissues such as teeth, gums, jawbone, lips, and cheeks caused by accidents, sports injuries, falls, and violence. In the literature, many studies have been conducted on the prevalence and etiology of traumatic dental injuries, knowledge levels of parents and caregivers, post-traumatic information, and treatment options. These studies increase the knowledge levels of physicians and guide them in managing the treatment and follow-up process in patients with dental trauma. Primary teeth are essential in terms of their relationship with permanent teeth. Traumas occurring in primary teeth cause damage at that moment and can also negatively affect the development of permanent teeth. With early diagnosis and treatment, complications can be prevented and the healthy development of permanent teeth can be ensured. This review aims to provide information on the stories, classifications, diagnoses, and treatments of primary tooth traumas, post-traumatic care, and their effects on permanent teeth.
