Devlet Koruması Altındaki Çocukların Sanatla Terapisi
Özet
Bu çalışma, çeşitli sosyal-ekonomik-politik veya doğal afetler nedeniyle ebeveynlerini kaybeden ve devlet koruması altına alınan çocukların yaşadığı travmaların sanat terapisi (ST) ile nasıl hafifletilebileceğini incelemektedir. Devlet koruması altındaki çocukların yaşamlarını zenginleştiren ve ruh sağlığına hizmet eden bir yöntem olarak uygulanan Sanat terapisi, çocukların bilişsel ve duyusal-motor işlevlerini iyileştirmek, özgüvenlerini geliştirmek, duygusal dayanıklılıklarını artırmak, sosyal becerilerini güçlendirmek ve stres, kaygı gibi duygusal sorunları azaltmak amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Sanat, dilin ötesinde sözsüz bir ifade biçimi sunarak iletişimde zorlanan çocuklar için özellikle çok faydalıdır. Çocukların resim yapmaları, iç dünyalarını ve hissettikleri duyguları kâğıda dökerek duygusal durumlarını ve yaşadıkları travmayı daha iyi anlatmalarına yardımcı olur. Ayrıca, sanat terapisi çocukların özgüvenini artırır ve kendilerini ifade etme becerilerini geliştirir.
ST, sadece bireysel gelişim ve iyileşme sağlamakla kalmaz, aynı zamanda rehabilitasyon sürecine de katkıda bulunur. Engelli bireylerin duygusal ve zihinsel gelişimlerine de destek olur ve sosyal becerilerin gelişimine katkıda bulunur. Grup çalışmaları ve ortak projeler, çocukların iletişim becerilerini, empati yeteneklerini ve iş birliği kapasitelerini artırır. Araştırmamız, sanat terapisi konusunda eğitimli uzmanların sayısının artırılması, kaynak sağlanması, iş birliği ağlarının kurulması ve araştırma-geliştirme çalışmalarının desteklenmesinin önemini vurgulamaktadır. Türkiye'deki ST merkezlerinin terapist, psikolog ve psikiyatr eşliğinde çalışmasının sanat terapi seanslarının derinlemesine ve terapötik bir yaklaşım sunmasını sağladığı belirtilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, sanat terapisi, yetim çocukların duygusal ve psikolojik iyileşmelerine önemli katkılar sağlayan etkili bir yöntemdir. Sanat terapisine yapılan yatırım, yetim çocukların yaşam kalitesini artırmak ve onlara daha umut dolu bir gelecek sunmak için büyük önem taşımaktadır.
