Osmanlı Belgelerinde Kestel Nâm-ı Dîğer Nâzilli Kazâsı

Bu çalışma, Osmanlı arşiv belgeleri üzerinden Nazilli tarihi hakkında bilgi sunmaktadır. XVIII. yüzyıla ait belgeler, Nazilli Kazası ile ilgili idari, siyasi, sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel konuları içermektedir. Bu belgeler arasında, Anadolu Ahkâm-ı Şikâyet Defterleri'nde kayıtlı olan ferman ve hüküm suretleri, Atîk Şikâyet Defteri kayıtları, Mühimme Defteri kayıtları, avârız, sâlyâne ve tevzi defterleri gibi çeşitli belgeler bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca, Nazilli Mahkemesi Kadı ve Naibleri tarafından devlet merkezine gönderilen arz, ilâm ve hüccetler de yer almaktadır. Bu belgeler, Nazilli'nin sosyal hayatını, resmi görevlileri, vakıfları, sanatları, yapıları ve insanların yaşadığı zorlukları yansıtmaktadır. Özellikle Acem ve Rumların Nazilli'deki ticari ilişkileri, Gencer Pazarı'ndaki esnaf çekişmeleri, Pazar Karyesi'ndeki vakıf han ve dükkân davaları, sarrfların Nazilli halkına borç vermesi, Nazilli Âyânları ve alacak-verecek anlaşmazlıkları gibi konular belgelere yansımıştır. Bu çalışma, Osmanlı arşiv belgeleri üzerinden Nazilli'nin tarihini anlamak ve incelemek isteyenlere kaynak bir eser sunmaktadır.

This study provides information about the history of Nazilli based on Ottoman archival documents. The documents from the 18th century contain administrative, political, socio-economic, and cultural issues related to the Nazilli District. Among these documents are various records such as decrees and judgments registered in the Anatolian Complaints Register, records from the Old Complaints Register, records from the Mühimme Register, as well as records of taxes, land revenues, and distribution. Additionally, there are also petitions, proclamations, and evidence sent by the judges and deputies of the Nazilli Court to the central government. These documents reflect the social life of Nazilli, its official officials, foundations, arts, structures, and the difficulties people faced. Particularly, the commercial relations of the Persians and Greeks in Nazilli, the disputes among the merchants in Gencer Market, the cases related to the foundation inn and shops in Pazar Karyesi, the lending of money by moneylenders to the people of Nazilli, and the disputes between the notables of Nazilli regarding debts and credits are some of the topics reflected in the documents. This study provides a source work for those who want to understand and examine the history of Nazilli through Ottoman archival documents.
